Cardiac Evaluation

  • Echocardiography with doppler

Doppler echocardiography is a procedure that uses ultrasound technology to examine the heart or blood vessels. An echocardiogram uses high frequency sound waves to create an image of the heart while the use of Doppler technology allows determination of the speed and direction of blood flow by utilizing the Doppler effect.

At EMC we are using PHILIPS Ultrasound EPIQ 5GI (check it)

  • Electrocardiography (ECG)

Electrocardiography (ECG) is the process of recording the electrical activity of the heart over a period of time using electrodes placed on the skin. These electrodes detect the tiny electrical changes on the skin that arise from the heart muscle's electrophysiologic pattern of depolarizing and repolarizing during each heartbeat. It is a very commonly performed cardiology test.

At EMC we are using  KENZ - ECG-305 (check it)

  • Holter tension

Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) measures blood pressure at regular intervals. It is believed to be able to reduce the white coat hypertension effect in which a patient's blood pressure is elevated during the examination process due to nervousness and anxiety caused by being in a clinical setting. Out-of-office measurements are highly recommended as an adjunct to office measurements by almost all hypertension organizations.

At EMC we are using KENZ - BPM AM 300  (check it)
